RK Nice Headshot 2017

Our Approach

We help anyone that wants to play the game of golf.  Whether you are just starting out playing the game or have been playing playing for years, we can help your game improve. There is not just one way to swing the club, just look at the different swings over the years from Bobby Jones to Arnold Palmer to Jack Nicklaus to Ben Hogan. Today we have Jim Furyk, Tiger Woods, Jordan Speith and Dustin Johnson. All swing different but have had success. We help determine your strengths and weaknesses and help you find the swing that will work the best for what your body can and can’t do. Golf is a game that can be played for a lifetime by anyone with any ability. Our greatest satisfaction is when you are able to enjoy “Swinging YOUR Swing”.

My Story

I started helping my high school golf coach out with his beginner golf clinics when I was just 16. It fascinated me that what worked for one person didn’t work others. Since then I enjoyed the search of learning how to teach golf and to help others find what clicks within them to be better at the game. 13 years later I became a PGA Golf Professional. I have done almost everything in the golf business from cutting grass to being a GM/Director of Golf of a country club, but what I always enjoyed the most was teaching others to play. 9 years ago I came out west from Cleveland, Ohio to open a golf facility in Mesquite, NV called Conestoga GC. When I left my Director of Golf position, it was time to stop putting in tons of hours for someone else and start doing it for myself.  With that in mind, I loved being out in the southwest with the amazing red rocks and seeing the sun over 300+ days a year, so I decided to start my own golf instruction business and focus on what I love to do the most, helping others and teaching golf full time.

I used the questions and struggles I had about my game and the frustration of many students with their own games, to learn as much as I could about the golf swing. Many times it wasn’t about what I was trying to say but it was how I communicated with the student that made the difference. I challenged myself early in my career to figure out a way to get them to swing better but also to relay my message, so they could understand and gain more satisfaction. Sometimes it took longer than others and that challenge is still there, which is why coaching someone to achieve their next level, provides one of the greatest personal and professional satisfaction and enjoyment one could have.

Now with all the latest technology and the 30+ years of experience, there is no one that I can’t help learn to get better, regardless of their abilities and limitations. Let’s see what you bring to the table.
